Interior Signage: More Than Just a Logo Wall

When people think of interior signage, they often imagine one thing: the company logo in the lobby. A well-designed logo wall provides a positive first impression to visitors. But that’s only scratching the surface.

True interior signage goes deeper. Your story unfolds through interior signage, which transforms your space to represent your identity throughout the entire environment.

Interior signage becomes essential for corporate offices, school campuses, medical facilities and civic buildings as it strengthens brand identity while providing accessibility and building trust.

Here’s how.

1. Dimensional Lettering That Creates Presence

The primary function of a great logo display is to seize attention rather than merely serving as a wall decoration. Dimensional lettering and fabricated signs establish your brand’s visual dominance through physical presence by using materials such as brushed aluminum, acrylic, wood or backlit panels to blend the logo seamlessly with the building’s architecture.

• Position it prominently in the lobby entrance for an upscale reception experience.
• Consistency across your brand presence requires repeating signage in strategic areas like boardrooms and reception desks.
• To achieve maximum impact, ensure the brand colors, finishes, and lighting complement each other.

When executed properly dimensional signage ensures your name becomes part of its surroundings.

2. Wall Graphics That Tell Your Story

Every blank wall is a storytelling opportunity. Through large-format wall graphics and murals combined with typography you can illustrate your company’s core values and organizational history while showcasing your team culture.

Consider using wall graphics to:

• Display your mission statement or guiding principles
• Highlight employee or student achievements
• Present your organizational history and key milestones through a visual timeline display.
• Long corridors and open office layouts become more interesting through the addition of lively elements.

Interior graphics transform your walls into an expressive platform for identity and emotion instead of simply serving as decoration through their vibrant boldness or subtle textural qualities.

3. ADA Signage That Reflects Care and Compliance

True accessibility means creating an environment where people feel valued and included. Every individual can move through your space with surety and respect because ADA-compliant signage removes barriers for people with different abilities.

That includes:

• Room IDs with tactile lettering and Braille
• Directional signs with high-contrast, readable typography
• All public areas must feature signage installed at appropriate heights and positions.

BLR maintains that ADA signage should fulfill its regulatory requirements while delivering visual appeal. Our signage designs match your visual style while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Internal Wayfinding That Reduces Friction

Confusion is the enemy of confidence. Wayfinding signage that is carefully planned makes visitors feel in command, whether they are new to a facility or moving through a large space, and boosts their satisfaction.

Strong wayfinding systems include:

• Floor directories near entrances and elevators
• Consistent directional signage throughout hallways
• Color-coded zones or departments
• Amenities such as restrooms, exits, and conference rooms require clear identification.

These types of signs play a crucial role in hospitals and schools as well as government buildings and campuses yet they also help small offices improve navigation.

Bring Your Interior to Life

All signs within your building shape the interaction people experience with your brand. Signage throughout your space, from the lobby to the furthest hallway, strengthens your values and personality while enhancing functionality and inclusivity.

BLR specializes in creating interior signage systems that extend beyond standard logo displays to provide environments that are functional while remaining aesthetically pleasing and aligned with your brand.
