ADA compliant Signs

Accessibility and safety signage is more than a best practice — it’s a legal requirement. These signs ensure compliance with ADA standards, building codes, and fire regulations while keeping visitors safe and informed.

ADA Compliant Signs

• Room Identification Signs: permanent spaces such as offices, classrooms, restrooms, and mechanical rooms; include tactile raised lettering, Grade II Braille, and high-contrast, non-glare backgrounds

Restroom Signs: men’s, women’s, unisex, or gender-neutral restrooms with pictograms, tactile lettering, and Braille

Exit & Stairwell Identification Signs: tactile/Braille signage at doors to stairs, exits, and passageways

Elevator & Floor Level Signs: tactile text, Braille, and high-contrast visuals inside and outside elevators

Directional & Wayfinding Signs (when ADA-required): permanent directional signs must meet legibility, contrast, and mounting standards

Overhead & Projected Signs: must use sufficient character height and contrast to remain legible from a distance
