Improving Accessibility in Medical Facilities with Voice-Activated Wayfinding Machines

Digital wayfinding machines have transformed the way people navigate complex environments. Medical facilities, in particular, have a responsibility to provide a comfortable and accessible environment for all patients, including those who may have visual impairments. One way to address this need is through the implementation of digital wayfinding machines that offer voice-activated commands.

By integrating voice-activated commands into digital wayfinding machines, medical facilities can create a more inclusive environment for all patients. Rather than relying solely on visual cues, patients with visual impairments can use voice-activated commands to navigate through the facility with ease. This technology can provide real-time directions to different areas of the medical facility such as clinics, waiting rooms, restrooms, and more.
