BLR’s Role in Bringing SanDisk’s Bold Rebrand to Life

SanDisk has long been a leader in flash storage solutions, known for reliability and innovation. But as technology evolves, so does the need for brands to keep up with the future. Enter SanDisk’s bold rebrand—a modern, futuristic transformation that reinvents the company’s visual identity.

The new pixel-inspired design takes inspiration from the smallest unit of data, reflecting SanDisk’s commitment to innovation and adaptability. It embraces a “Mindset of Motion,” symbolizing limitless progress and collaboration. With a bold slab-serif typeface, fragmented letterforms, and a warm, refreshed red color palette, the new look perfectly balances legacy with a forward-thinking approach.

But a rebrand is more than just a new logo—it’s about creating a cohesive brand experience across every touchpoint, from signage to digital displays. That’s where BLR stepped in, helping to bring SanDisk’s new brand identity to life through high-quality signage and environmental branding at their facilities.

Bringing the Future to SanDisk’s Campus

To ensure SanDisk’s physical spaces matched its fresh, bold new identity, BLR was entrusted with the installation of new branding elements across multiple buildings. The scope of the project included exterior illuminated signage, interior graphics, wayfinding, and directional signage, all designed to reflect SanDisk’s sleek, modern new look.

Exterior Signage: A Striking First Impression

• Illuminated Building Signs – Bold facelit channel letters were installed on the exterior of key buildings, ensuring that the SanDisk brand remains visible day and night.
• Vinyl Logo on Glass – A large-format adhesive vinyl logo was placed on the building’s glass facade, making a strong visual impact from the moment visitors arrive.
• Building Identification & Directional Signage – Acrylic wayfinding and site ID signs featuring SanDisk’s new typography and logo were installed throughout the campus, making navigation seamless.
• Updated Address Markings – Sleek white vinyl building addresses were installed per the updated branding guidelines.

Interior Branding: A Space That Reflects Innovation

• Lobby Branding – The lobby was transformed with a striking acrylic logo display and a large-format wall graphic, reinforcing SanDisk’s commitment to a futuristic, bold identity.
• Wall Wraps & Graphics – Throughout the lobby, auditorium, and CBC (Customer Briefing Center), BLR installed digitally printed adhesive vinyl graphics, adding a dynamic, high-tech feel to the space.
• Reception Desk Graphic – A modern, branded vinyl installation at the reception desk creates a consistent brand experience from the moment visitors walk in.

A Seamless Transition

As part of the project, BLR also handled the removal and replacement of existing signs, ensuring that outdated branding was completely replaced with the new identity. This included patching and repainting building facades, updating parking lot signage, and coordinating multiple mobilizations to complete the work efficiently.

The Outcome: A Rebrand That’s More Than a Logo

With the completion of this project, SanDisk’s campus now fully embodies its new brand identity—one that is bold, modern, and future-ready. Every element, from the large illuminated signs to the refined lobby graphics, tells the story of a company pushing boundaries in the tech space.

SanDisk’s rebrand isn’t just about looking different—it’s about reinventing how the brand is perceived. The new typography, colors, and kinetic branding elements bring a cutting-edge energy that aligns with SanDisk’s mission to drive technological progress. With BLR’s expertise, this transformation was executed seamlessly, ensuring that the brand’s vision was reflected not only online but in the real world as well.

SanDisk is stepping into the future, and BLR was proud to play a role in making that vision a reality.
