Women in Construction: Spotlight on BLR Project Manager Karen Weyman

Every year, Women in Construction Week celebrates the impact of women across the industry…from project managers and architects to engineers and builders. At BLR, we’re proud to highlight our own team members who are shaping the future of signage and construction.

One of those leaders is Karen Weyman, Director of Project Management at BLR. Karen is responsible for overseeing some of the company’s largest projects. Her career in construction began on the front lines of sign making and installation, giving her a unique understanding of what it takes to deliver high-quality products and services.

Karen’s attention to detail, unparalleled organization, and exceptional multitasking skills make her a valuable member of the BLR team. Her favorite part of the job is seeing projects develop from a simple idea into impactful visual media. When she’s not busy dreaming about signs, Karen volunteers actively in her community and has organized multiple donation efforts.

Karen’s success in the construction industry is just one example of the important contributions women are making in a traditionally male-dominated field. They continue to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and make a lasting mark.
